Opening Hours

You may have noticed The Café Bars opening hours have changed. The new opening hours are due to building work taking place to extend the kitchen, which is a really exciting project. We’ll keep you up-to-date with it’s progress, so you can come and check it out when it’s all complete.

The Café Bars hours are now:
Mon-Fri 8.30am – 7pm, Saturdays and Sundays closed.

The Bar will be open on Saturday match days from 11am – 7pm, so feel free to pop in for a pre or post match bevvie and bite!

NewMuseum of Contemporary Art designed by Art Architecture is set in Norwich. It is like a gallery/stall in a market square except that the NewMuseum is to be defined as a cluster phenomenon, an experimental collective, a series of rooms or suites around the city. Imagine having a hotel spread across the city, rooms designed and chosen for location and style. It is not a white space waiting for content.

Newmuseum is a newword, newbeginning, newart, newspace, newbusiness, newbar, newideas, newworold. newweb, newdrawings…..oldlocation

Its main focus is the former industrial area of Norwich within the King Street area. Both internal and external space are seen as rooms giving artists opportunities to relate to site specific installation and engage in cross fertilization of all art and design practices.

The first of these spaces has been built in the cluster of buildings known as Netherconesford. The cluster houses creative business. A project identifying further rooms is named The Straits Project. It defines further opportunities in the area.

Partnerships are currently being formed in Eastern Europe where creative activities are helping regeneration including areas such as health, urban design and quality of life.It is the intention of the New Museum to form collaboration worldwide.

The concept allows for continual change and sees no parameters. It has a clear position with no defined boundaries. The hub is the essential heart. Curation and development will be generated from this hub by a team in order to manage and hold fast the initial intention whilst developing its potential.
