Introduce unfamiliar material for public viewing by Integrating and fusing a wide range of creative processes at different stages of development, establishing points where common ground between artistic practices can be revealed and presented to a wider audience.

Develop a nascent collection of discernable items extracted from everyday usage, which challenge the conventions of compilation creating a forum for public viewing, public contribution and public debate as to the value of Material Culture.

Construct and build up a Virtual Exhibiting Space for designers and artists and a Database for other creative individuals involved in programmes and events with the NewMuseum

Create a programme of sustainable open submission exhibitions on a variety of different levels and themes and cultivate sponsored projects, promote multicultural exchange programmes and support educational collaboration and events

Welcome a variety of creative practices such as performance, music and writing into the location with a view to creating progressive long-term links and positive shared experiences.

Facilitate and support high tech digital presentation amenities for businesses, creative industries and individuals. Encouraging the very highest level of inventive possibilities in this area

NewMu would like to welcome Dan Woodward as the new Café Bar Manager. Dan has been with us for a year now as Bar Supervisor, and we are delighted to offer him this exciting promotion. Congratulations Dan.

OPENING HOURS

You may have noticed The Café Bars opening hours have changed. The new opening hours are due to building work taking place to extend the kitchen, which is a really exciting project. We’ll keep you up-to-date with it’s progress, so you can come and check it out when it’s all complete.

The Café Bars hours are now:
Mon-Fri 8.30am – 7pm, Saturdays and Sundays closed.

The Bar will be open on Saturday match days from 11am – 7pm, so feel free to pop in for a pre or post match bevvie and bite!
